Our Story
Alzheimer’s Family of Friends Foundation was born from personal experience and a deep understanding of the challenges families face after an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Our Founder and CEO has lived through this journey—having lost his mother to Parkinson’s and his in-laws to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. When his wife was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, he made a powerful commitment: to help other families carry the financial burden, so they can focus on what truly matters—caring for their loved ones.
Our mission is simple but vital: to provide financial relief to families affected by Alzheimer’s. We also recognize that families facing Parkinson’s, Dementia, and other cognitive challenges share similar struggles. That’s why, when possible, we extend our support to them as well—offering assistance through donations, grants, and community partnerships.
We are fortunate to be surrounded by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff from all walks of life. Their compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment fuel our efforts and help us reach more families every year.
At Alzheimer’s Family of Friends Foundation, success isn’t just measured by numbers, but by the stories of hope and gratitude we receive from the families we serve.
